Creativity Practice: Poem

I was once taught a creativity practice that I want to share with you.

In this practice the end result will (hopefully) be a poem.

And no, you don’t have to be good at writing poems.

This is about writing a poem from random thoughts.

The step-by-step instructions

1) Write random things on a paper (or somewhere else) for five minutes. a. It can be thoughts, random words, lists, descriptions… Don't think about it at all, just write and keep writing.
2) Read what you have written and think about what the motif of it is.
3) Strikethrough all the words that are not necessary in order to convey the meaning of the text.
4) Read the lovely poem.

See here and here the poems that I wrote following this idea.
