The Beginning

When I was in third grade, I decided that I wanted to become a writer.

The next year I probably had a new dream job. But to be honest, I never stopped dreaming about becoming a writer.

I started a lot of stories, but never really finished anything longer than short stories with a couple of pages.

I had difficulties deciding in which language I should write a story, I had German, Finnish and later English to choose from and I often changed my mind about the language during writing a story, which made it that more difficult to write. In my opinion the language you write in has a huge influence on the characters, the plot and the surroundings.

Now I really want to push myself to write novels and stories and publish them online.

Just because it is so easy nowadays and because I love doing it.

I don’t really desire to become famous or rich with writing. For me it feels more like I could fill a small empty space in my heart with writing and do something I like.

I need to develop my English skills and my writing skills and I want to document my progress in a way. So that I, and perhaps others, can learn from it. That are the reasons why I started this blog.

Here I can research and share thoughts and facts about writing and publishing, but more important than that: I can improve my writing with practice.

So, welcome to my blog.

I am Kim A. Dreamreich. 

...Or at least that is my Pseudonym.

And if you haven’t realized it yet I have decided (for now) that English is the language I like to use the most.
